Current Happenings

9-2010  I have made a couple of new pages that are more current than this page.  There is one on Pond Scum and one on Storm Damage.  I have blogged about them both so these new pages are basically pictures that I haven't learned how to get into the blogs.  Sorry.........

Even though the pictures below aren't really current, I have not deleted them because I like them and they show some diversity in the life here on the farm.

May 14, 2009 - Hummingbird rescue. You can see the little male flying a couple of inches from my face. He was chattering to the female while I was trying to get her to drink the nectar.

6-21-2008 Isn't he cute? He hates to paint but he is doing it for me. Do you see Quality Control looking out the window upstairs or is that a little angel watching him on that ladder?

Well yes, I was busy too, cleaning the mold off the North side of the house, right across from where Dan was painting the Old Oak House.  With a scrub brush, a bucket of warm soapy water and some elbow grease, that mold doesn't stand a chance!

This is a picture of Michelle and her son, Anthony (he is wearing our 1st place ribbon), sitting at the table we decorated for the "Mission Conference" that was going on at our church in April.  There were 8 to 10 tables that were in the competition and I think we won by just being very colorful!  All the tables were different and interesting.  We had a great pot-luck, fantastic fellowship and our missionaries to Aftrca spoke after the meal, with many interesting facts about their every day living, while there.
