Fraise Du Bois - An almost black boy!
A little bouncing black boy, weighing 20 lbs., was born on September 10. His poor sister, Excallonia, has been soundly put into second place by her mom. Azalea. He is the only cria we will have this year. Begonia refused to breed with Paladin and Daphne has no unrelated Sire to breed on this farm. We are still looking for a good male for her. The first picture of Fraise is not a good one so I will try to get some more. His mom is such a great mom that it is difficult to get close to him. Time..................
Azalea is giving the look to her daughter - Escallonia, who is standing behind her. Piangee is the cria's uncle and standing back (smart boy) to see the new one.
About 5 hours old.
Lunch time! He is 1 week old today.
I guess after a week, all the newness is gone. Back to normal. Piangee is looking at me and thinking about coming over and chewing on me, or the camera, or my phone................He did.
This is the picture I used to do the watercolor pencil drawing on the "Arts and Crafts" page.
