Hats
When I first started to felt hats, we had not sheared our Alpacas, so, I used wool and fleece that I purchased on the internet. Wool felts differently than Alpaca fleece and it took some time to determine the difference and how to felt each one effectively.
I have dyed one hat and have learned that I do not want to dye my fleece. Alpaca Fleece comes in 22 natural colors and we now have 7 of those colors. If someone wants a dyed color that is not one of the natural colors that we have, I am willing to purchase that color fleece to make a hat.
